Parent-led management

The ALFIZ (Association of the Lycée Français International de Zurich) manages the school’s finances, and all parents of enrolled students are members. The association meets at least once a year in a general assembly to vote on tuition fees, approve the previous school year’s accounts, and approve the budget for the upcoming year. Extraordinary general assemblies are organized if necessary.

As a non-profit organization, the association is led by a Board committee, elected during the general assembly, which oversees the school’s financial and operational management.

ALFIZ is the school’s governing body and is legally responsible under Swiss law. It also employs staff under local contracts. The school’s revenue is primarily based on tuition fees paid by families.
