Creation of the first French school in the canton by 14 families.

A new name “Lycée Français de Zurich”, with 300 students enrolled.

With 700 students, the high schoolers are moving into new facilities in Stettbach.

Recognition of the French–German curriculum by the Zurich Cantonal Education Directorate.

Opening of the new Lycée Français de Zurich in Dübendorf, with over 900 students.

The building is awarded “Swiss Building of the Year.”

To highlight its international dimension, the Lycée Français becomes the Lycée Français International de Zurich.

With student numbers continuing to grow, a new building is being constructed to welcome secondary students from the 2026 school year.
